It is situated on Southbourne Coast Road, a stones throw from the seafront. Our upstairs studio commands spectacular views stretching from The Purbecks, across the Bay of Bournemouth, to the Isle of Wight. It is a light airy studio providing a calm and tranquil environment in which to relax and train.
We offer a range of group mat classes for all levels, taught by skilled Pilates teachers, all certified with with either Body Control Pilates or the Pilates Foundation.
We also have an equipment studio which has state-of-the-art specialised apparatus imported from the USA. Here we teach tailored one-on-one classes but can also accommodate small classes of up to 3.
Georgina is a thoughtful and enthusiastic Pilates teacher with a great sense of humour. Our one-to-two sessions are challenging but fun, with exercises tailored to our individual needs and abilities. Our core strength and flexibility has definitely improved and we leave each session feeling relaxed and energised. We would recommend Shore Pilates to everyone and wish that we had started years ago. I have been doing pilates with Georgina for around 10 years. I started because of various neck and back problems and quickly found it helped with these. I carried on because it seemed to do so much more than this. I love the focus and relaxation effect and come out of classes feeling serene. I've found Georgina a great teacher and feel really lucky to have found her. She is easy to follow, clear, challenging and fun. Every session is different and geared to however I am on that occasion as well as taking heed of all my particular body foibles. My pilates is one part of my schedule I don't ever want to change!
