Mat Classes

Level 2


Once you have some understanding of the Pilates principles either by doing a 1:1 lesson or from attending a “Fundamentals” course, then a level 2 class is usually the next step. These classes will be a lovely balance of movements to gently mobilise and strengthen your whole body from the inside out. We move you through at a steady pace with plenty of guidance, hands on correction and we are also happy to modify exercises for those that may have any restrictions. We often use props such as Foam Rollers, Magic Circles, Spikey Balls, Therabands or Overballs to create more feedback, increase range of movement, add a stability challenge or just to keep you entertained!!

Level 3


These classes are suitable for those wanting all of the above but with more flow and more challenging exercises. Your teacher won’t spend much time demonstrating, we expect you to know most of the rep and be able to follow our instructions fairly well so expect more content in a Level 3 class!

Level 4


All of our level 4 classes are for seasoned Pilates students. The classes are more dynamic as well as physically and technically more challenging. We are likely to cover both classical as well as contemporary style Pilates repertoire. You might even sweat!!!
